2017-18

  • Received provisional accreditation status for three years from NBA-New Delhi, for four UG programs, namely Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Electronics, and Computer Science & Engineering.
  • BLEACET was awarded "Excellent Contribution in Education" during II National Education Summit and Awards 2016 by VTU, NSIC and AICTE.
  • State Level 39th Series KSCST Student Project was successfully organized.

2015-16

  • Five UG programs, namely Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Electronics, Electronics and Communication and Computer Science & Engineering got provisional accreditation status for two years from NBA, New Delhi.
  • The period of accreditation was extended by one more year, i.e. up to June, 2018.

2014-15

  • Started M.Tech. in Production Engineering and System Technology (ME) with an intake of 18.
  • VTU, Belagavi, recognizes Computer Science & Engineering Department of the college to offer Ph.D. and M.Sc. Eng. (by research) program.

2013-14

  • Intake of Computer Science and Electronics Communication Engineering course increased by 30 (from 90 to 120).
  • Started M.Tech. in Microelectronics and Control Systems(EE) with an intake of 18.
  • Started M.Tech. in Digital Communication and Networking (EC) with an intake of 18.
  • VTU, Belagavi, grants permanent affiliation status to Mechanical Engineering and Computer Science & Engineering Courses.
  • Obtained ISO 9001:2008 Certification from United Registrar of Systems.
  • Intake of M.Tech. Computer Science and Engineering increased by 6 ( from 18 to 24).

2012-13

  • VTU, Belagavi, grants Permanent Affiliation status to Civil, Electrical & Electronics, Automobile Engineering courses.
  • Started shift course in Electrical and Electronics Engineering course with an intake of 60.
  • Started M.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering (CS) with an intake of 18.
  • Intake of Civil Engineering course increased by 30 (from 30 to 60).
  • Intake of Electronics and Communication Engineering course increased by 30 (from 90 to 120).
  • Memorandum of Understanding was signed with Karnataka Biotechnology and Information Technology Services (KBITS) to setup an Incubation centre.

  • Intake of Mechanical Engineering course increased by 30 (from 90 to 120).
  • Started M.Tech. in Thermal Engineering (ME) with an intake of 18.

  • VTU, Belagavi, recognizes Mechanical, Industrial Production, Electrical & Electronics, Mathematics and Chemistry departments as Research Centers to offer Ph.D. and M.Sc. Eng.(by research) programs.
  • Started Shift Courses in Civil Engineering and Mechanical Engineering with an intake of 60 each.
  • Intake of MCA course increased by 30 (from 30 to 60).

  • VTU, Belagavi, recognizes the Civil Engineering Department as Research centre to offer Ph.D. and M.Sc. Eng.(by research) programs.

2005-06

  • Mechanical Engineering program receives accreditation from National Board of Accreditation, New Delhi, for a period of three years.

2004-05

  • Three programs of the institute, namely Civil, Electrical & Electronics and Electronics & Communication Engineering receive accreditation from the National Board of Accreditation, New Delhi, for a period of three years.

  • Information Science Course started with an intake of 30.

1999-00

  • Intake of Electronics and Electrical Engineering course increased by 10 (from 60 to 70)
  • Intake of Computer Science and Engineering course increased by 40 (from 40 to 80).

1998-99

  • Institute was affiliated to newly established Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi.
  • Master of Computer Applications Course started with an intake of 40.
  • Mechanical Engineering course intake increased by 20 (from 70 to 90).

1995-96

  • Intake of Mechanical Engineering course increased by 10 (from 60 to 70).

1991-92

  • Intake of Civil and Mechanical Engineering courses increased by 20 (from 40 to 60).

  • Bachelor of Architecture (B. Arch.) course started with an intake of 30.

  • M.Tech. in Structural Engineering (CV) commenced with an intake of 10.

  • Automobile and Industrial Production Engineering courses commenced with an intake of 30 each.

  • Computer Science and Engineering course started with an intake of 30.

  • Started operations at a newly constructed independent building on Ashram Road.

  • Institute started with three basic branches viz., Civil, Mechanical, Electrical & Electronics and is affiliated to Karnataka University, Dharwad.

Engineering branches started with an intake of 40 each in Bangaramma Sajjan Campus.
