Business Management Research Centre

MBA Research Centre was established in the year 2019-20 at V.P.Dr.P.G.Halakatti College of Engineering and Technology with an objective of promoting a research culture among the faculty and students. The centre is an approved Ph.D. Research Centre in Management under the Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi. At our Research Centre we offer Ph.D. in Marketing Management, Human Resource Management, Retail Managemnt, Agribusiness Management, Supply Chain Management, Production Management and Organizational Management. At present, 02 students are doing their Ph.D. research work and 01 Ph.D. scholar have been awarded Ph.D. The research centre conducts various research activities for the researchers. To provide the platforms to young researchers, academician and industry expert to put forth the ideas, concepts, practices, we organize research conferences on different themes of management and economics. The Research centre undertakes Major and Minor Research Projects funded by Government and Non-Government agencies. We also provide Research Consultancy and training across the different topics/issues in management. Under the Research Centre initiative we guide the faculty members to write Research Papers and their presentation at various seminars and publications in refereed research journals.

The research centre has state-of-the-art infrastructure i.e. spacious lecture halls, computer labs with high speed internet and Wi-Fi connectivity, LAN facility, air conditioned library, well stocked library with spacious reading hall. Guest lectures, seminars, conferences, industrial visits and tours, outdoor management camps, annual management events and coaching programs are held on regular basis. The institute has large hostel facilities as well as a placement centre.
