  • Asif Iqbal Momin, IQAC Coordinator and Associate Professor, Dept. of Civil Engineering, has been awarded “Best Project of the Year Award” for project title “Plastic Pavement Blocks”, during 44th Series of Student Project Programme: 2020-21, sponsored by Karnataka State Council for Science and Technology, Indian Institute of Science (IISc)Campus, Bengaluru, on 15-Sep-2021.
  • Asif Iqbal Momin, IQAC Coordinator and Associate Professor, Dept. of Civil Engineering, has been awarded “Best Paper Award” for presenting technical paper “Modulus of Elasticity of High-Performance Concrete Beams under Flexure-Experimental Approach”, during International Conference on Advances in Construction Technology and Management - 2021 (ACTM-2021) at College of Engineering Pune, Maharashtra, India, during March 11-12, 2021.

  • V. P. Huggi, Professor, Dept. of Civil Engineering, has been appointed as Technical Director for Karnataka Niravari Nigam and Visvesvaraya Jala nigam limited, Government of Karnataka.
  • S. M. Hattaraki, Assistant Professor, ECE department, presented a paper entitled "Multipurpose Vertical Plotter Machine-MVPM" at the 5th IEEE International Conference on Computational Systems and Information Technology for Sustainable Solutions (CSITSS-2021) and received the Best Paper Award.
  • Pushpa B. Patil, Professor, CSE dept, hosted two faculty members from Myanmar Institute of Information Technology under the Asian-India research training fellowship.
  • Prema T. Akkasaligar, Professor, CSE dept, completed the AICTE-UKIERI technical leadership development programme for the AY 2019-20.
  • V. A. Bagali presented a paper entitled "Vermi composting of Biodegradable Waste: An IoT based Approach" at the 5th International conference on Electrical, Electronics, Communication, Computer Technologies and Optimization Techniques (ICEECCOT-2021) and received the Best Paper Award.
